it would be a snap for me to regrow my big toe!""

LOL... arggggg

At that age, you could probably have done it, but then in come the adults who don't believe and say... oh... you poor little thing, you've lost your toe and toes don't grown back... adults have adulterated a lot of stuff... LOL...
and we believe them and start spouting the same ideas.

I remember when my niece shot herself and blew away the ability to move all but one finger. Intelligence still remains. I recall talking about brain cells growing back etc and was firmly taken to task because 'the one thing that doesn't regenerate is the brain'.... I was asked to not talk about it...I could pray about it but not talk about it... OK... prolly better not to talk... and now.... 'science' discovers that brain cells can grow, can regenerate and also other parts of the brain can be trained for use.

Oh well... according to one's faith, be it done... and so forth... not worth arguing about... either one believes or not... but I love your story... and... I did get a hole deep enough to get close to the bone as it was a cut on top... and then I was told...NOT to peel off scabs... hehe

LOL... it would have hurt more to cut off your toe.. did you have to get a tetnus shot ???

I believe worms can regrow their bodies if you cut them in half... or something like that... livers regrow or expand... my half liver is absolutely grand and my gallbladder has come back from 15% to 51% functionality... however that did take a few years of good eating... + loads of coffee... I jest...

Yes, loads of coffee, but I don't know if gallbladders like it or not... mine does <wink>
