Hi, freeus. think i'll check out global marine, too. that's certainly been a good one. don't know much about the oil and gas biz . i have some exxon and chevron but those guys are not really the same thing. they do pay good dividends and have done well over the last few years but are not great trading stocks -- not enough volatility. i really like to buy and sell the same stock a couple of times at least. i guess i'm not too imaginative and if i get a good one i like to play with it a few times. ko is definitely the premier growth stock to coin a phrase once coined by .... . i'll never sell all of mine until the bitter end. i hate taxes too. sometimes so much that i don't even want to take a long-term capital gain because it makes me so mad. I do ultimately take that gain and now is the best time in years to do so because of the improved tax rate. and think of what you can do with the extra money even after taxes. you should get a good accountant because it's worth the extra you might have to pay. that's been the best thing i've done in helping me to manage what i make.
