Did he expect Saddam to come out with his hands up because we said to do so? He refused to give up power in the face of an imminent threat of US invasion. Before that, he refused to leave Kuwait in the face of an imminent invasion.

Clinton DID advocate regime change in Iraq. How, in the light of this (and he knew of that 1991 First Gulf War incident), did he expect to accomplish that? This is like telling Hitler to step aside: you do it by force or forget it.

Or was Slick, as usual, just venting hot air?
