President Bush's first surgeon general testified Tuesday that his speeches were censored to match administration political positions.

This is disappointing. Rich Carmona started his medical career as a Special Forces A team medic. I have met and talked to him one on one - twice after he became Surgeon General.

He was in this job 4 years and left without a squeak. Why do we hear this now a full year after he departed for no stated reason?

Is Carmona telling us he sacrificed his professional values, his personal values and what he thought were the best interests of America for another paycheck?

This is becoming the trend of National Leaders. They stay the course to get the position or get promoted again to do nothing but follow the political lead or direction. If you do that you can continue to take the pay check. Instead of leaving for principle.
