You can get BC geology in detail here..

em.gov.bc.ca

webmap.em.gov.bc.ca

The layers you turn on to view rocks are the "BCGS geology layers 2005" at the bottom left index but above the GSC geology layers. GSC stuff does not work. Colours come in with the BCGS stuff.

In order to display it you have to be using IE 6 or higher and download a .net directX plug in for microsoft. Maybe all you need is that dotnet directx plug in for IE6 or 7. It may or may not require certain .net 3.0 upgrades to win2000 or XP. But it is more or less automatic when it detects the need.

The Autodesk Review may not be necessary.

I don't know if you need a DWFx Review software from autodesk, but if you do its "free" here from Autodesk.. (not at the site you are directed to on the BC site, as the software has changed.)

usa.autodesk.com

It's called Autodesk Design Review. 32 megabytes. It's for free viewing of DWF drawing files made in Autocad or one of the file makers that Autodesks gives away or sells.
