Rand hated "Libertarians", and even "libertarians", although really she was one of the later, at least by the definition I would use. She was for a very minimal government, but she had a whole set of reasons and philosophical ideas, and she didn't take well to people who rejected them. She didn't want people to just be libertarians, she wanted them to be "objectivists", and took it to the point of not considering "objectivists" to be libertarian.
