<<Taxes!! I got home today and there was a notice from the IRS saying that we owed an additional 335.00 and change from 2005. >> When I joined the army in '69 I had some money in a college account. My mother added some money to it to buy a CD. She'd get the interest while I was gone and I'd get the CD when I came home. I came home in Sept of '71 and got the last interest payment of the year. The bank listed all the years payments going to me. In '76 the IRS told me I owed taxes on the first 3 payments. Showed them where my mother had paid and got a note said it was solved. Next year another letter, sent them the same information plus the letter and got another ok. Next year I got ANOTHER letter, sent them all the information PLUS the 2 problem solved letters and they put my house up for sale over $88. I paid them their fucking money.
