A Plug in would work for me too. The idea that the car companies can't meet the cafe standards of thje 70's is beyond belief. It all screams of colusion between big oil and the major manufacturers.
They say that the cars made in the 70's did not get the mileage they claimed.
Man I still have my records and my Plymouth Miser got 51 MPG on the highway, unless I ran the air conditioner, then it got 47 MPG.
Watch for VW to introduce an all electric car.
