"It's "freedom of THEIR religion and freedom FROM the other religions"." Should be no surprise. That was the primary reason the Puritans came over in the first place. They considered it a duty to rescue the unbelievers from their sin. The unbelievers were, of course, everyone who didn't believe precisely what they did. And they were apparently obnoxious enough about it that even the Dutch couldn't stand them...
