The gut is the only part of the body, besides the brain, that has a brain. amazon.com I heard the author talk on this subject on The Colbert Report. Colbert is famous for saying he never uses his brain or reason, but relies on his gut. He went to Dartmouth, so he probably has no choice in the matter. <G> Anyway, the author says the gut is usually right if it is relying on experience and the other brain for background. But Bush relying on his gut is a bad idea since he has no experience of any sort, and he is ignorant of the basics, as he does not read. Supposedly, he can read, but chooses not to. Anyway, that makes his gut feelings inaccurate.

I think we already knew his gut was not, in the German lingo, gut.
