If Thompson weren't getting into the race I think Rudi could survive even this latest stuff, at least in the Blue States.

But I think Thompson will probably come off as an acceptable alternative to Rudi in ALL the states and especially in the South.

All these unfortunate "associations" are beginning to pile up against Rudi and now he's got those firefighters doing the "swiftboat" thing.
