John, I don't disagree with you. That's what makes this election so interesting. We've already seen Thompson make a major blunder (re: Cuban immigrants) and he's not even a declared candidate yet. The debates could REALLY be fun to watch because both Rudi and Fred aren't afraid to shoot from the hip. The reason I think Rudi has such an uphill battle is that I think the Red States will sort of coalesce around Thompson. The GOOD thing is that we HAVE to get a major improvement to Bush in 2008 no matter WHO wins.
