That's why I started this thread, as I have money in both.

Hey, you're the finance guy -- riddle me this Batman:

After doing some heavy thinking , I have come to the conclusion that while both WSTL/AMTX are a great technology pairing (with great contacts) I am quite concerned about their financial health. With deployments from telcos still delayed, what provides them income to offset a seemingly high cash burn rate. I can't believe AMTX would have turned down a very high priced offer from another source if they had a choice. So what prevents the same thing happening to WSTL in a few months. They get low on cash, no money from deployments, stock price has not risen, and Lucent buys them up for a song, e.g. WSTL buying a cash strapped AMTX.

Why can't this happen? Our investment is then worth zippo. Help me out here.
