Some of the posters so far are unfamiliar to me as followers of the y2k sector. I know others are very familiar. So I'll just say I think Thinking Tools is onto something brilliantly innovative. A tool that allows a company to assess its risk before spending millions is a stroke of genius-and cheap as well, considering the potential savings. OTOH, investing in a company that hasn't seen a profitable quarter yet is pretty scary-and based on a product, by the way, that for all its charm may actually be late for many to use.

As for buying, I thought if I entered a limit order, the Muggers would blow right by me. With the float so small, they're going to be playing games with the spread anyway. Considering the runup on Friday happened on very little volume, the same could have happened today, in either direction, the same way. I figured why not take a longer view and be prepared for a ride for awhile-cuz if the product does take off, a couple bucks either way ain't gonna matter.

I love jumping from heights into muddy water.....
