The Endorsement Letter
Mississippi State Senate Senator Bob M. Dearing 37th District
July 12, 2007
Dear Mr. Rivera:
Thank you for your generous invitation to your Biofuel facility in Natchez. What I have witnessed today is something I have never seen in my 28 years of Legislative experience. With the nation facing such turmoil over the energy crisis and the horrendous greenhouse effects emitted through our dependency on fossil fuels, I am proud to have witnessed your process of converting one bushel of soybeans, not soy oil, into 5 gallons of cellulosic-based biofuel both liquid and gas. I was astounded by your biofuels' capability of running clean in both diesel and gasoline engines on a 50/50 blend. I am still left in awe of being able to put my hand on the exhaust manifold of an old 671 Detroit diesel engine and not being burned because it was running so cool. After witnessing your process with my own eyes, I stand ready to assist you in the obtaining of grants and in any other manner in bringing this earth-shattering fuel to Mississippi and the United States of America to help alleviate our dependency on fossil fuels and turning in the direction to help alleviate the greenhouse effects that is so important to the people and their future.
Best Regards,
Bob Dearing
