Government is like a giant roach factory. These roaches are impossible to kill, and have multiple limbs like Shiva, all with sticky tentacle like appendages that find their way into your pockets and attach to your money. Once they get the money they give it to other roaches. Whoever made it does not deserve it. They always give it to someone else who has less ambition.

The whole idea of government was to serve the people, provide them with things that industry may not strive to provide. We can see the necessary areas. But to run these services lean and mean so that society can afford them, is the crux of the issue. It just is not in the civil service's hand book to stop the unnecessary proliferation of inertia-bound elements. And the people elected to control it seem powerless, or see themselves as predators of the people's money bent on enlarging the snivel serve-us as a barrier against civic control and as an army that will protect them and increase their influence.

In other words it is as if the King and the army and are in cahoots with the elected reps in order to rule and be wealthy. This whole paradigm has to stop. We have to send people to rule government who have the power to roll back excess expenditures and do more than lip service to the defense and promotion of the common man and his business.

Instead we get demagogues with their own agenda, constantly encroaching on business and industry as an enemy and wealth as a traitor to just enterprise.
