Thanks for your not very constructive comments. Actually, I was long Intel until late July and went short at 88.6875 on a hedge position that included an equal dollar amount on DEC at 41.125. In general, I believe that taking extremely large positions (i.e., a very large precentage of one's portfolio) long or short in a single stock is not very wise. I believe diversification is an important aspect of investing. A macho approach to investing usually results in extreme results (hopefully on one's side!). I would call what your are recommending speculating and not investing.
