I participated on two Yahoo threads (Littlefield and Simulations Plus) where the CEOs regularly posted under their own names. They both were very responsible and limited their postings to facts. Neither individual made any attempts to pump their stock. though it could be argued that their mere participation was an effort to promote the company and the stock. I think that both individuals stopped posting on the advice of their attorneys.

It may not have necessarily been illegal for John Mackey to post under an alias, but it certainly showed poor judgment on his part.

I wonder how this information got discovered.
