In other words you recognise the flaw in your allegation and aren't man enough to admit it, you'd rather slip off casting names over your shoulder. I substantiated my opinion and challenged you to refute it, you can't. OK, but there was nothing slimy on my part. I was honest with my opinion about Shepard and you don't like it. That's your problem. I am not aware of Shepard ever expressing his hopefulness for our success. If he did I missed it among the hundreds, maybe thousands of posts to the contrary. I don't take him very serious because I don't think it ultimately matters to him how America does. He doesn't image our system to be vulnerable so such things are irrelevant in the process of getting partisan agendas moved along. I said he doesn't get it and I don't believe he does. I am convinced politics to him are about as complicated as joining a side of lilliputions arguing over which end of an egg to open. Maybe you got so defensive because you identify with that. I don't believe he realizes the fragility of our society depends on taking principled stands on issues. Do you?
