My point is that if Iran wants to generate pressure on the dollar, it makes no difference what currency the buyer uses. Dollars - or whatever - can be exchanged instantly into any other currency any place along the transaction. Any financial entity can sell the dollars instantly - and pay the seller whatever currency they want. That's why I think there is more political showmanship in this, rather than business.
