wayne, i think you underestimate the impact of the false pretense war bush and his cronies started. just to give you an idea, the private companies supplying the food get $25 per plate served to our military. in order to keep the food warm, soldiers often take two plates.

that's $25 - $50 per meal per soldier.

all under bush's watch.

he still hasn't found bin laden - and i don't think he wants to. it is much easier to break the back of the spirit of the law when the *demon* is still out there.

bush may not be all that smart, but the folks around him that pull his strings are. unfortunately, they are book smart intellectuals with an agenda and they have very little practical smarts.

they wanted to change the mideast and their vanity so entrenched they thought they could in a relative short time. they were wrong and they will cost this nation another trillion bucks on the back of their bad decisions.

i'm sorry, but just ignoring the trillion dollar boondogle isn't reasonable to me.

i also believe the dollar was marginally devalued as a result of this war and not by a small amount.

clinton was a hood, imho, who manipulated people to his own advantage. i dislike those personality types by nature.

but bush has a jesus complex and an agenda that knows limited morality.

he believes he's above the law and above oversight. he will lie about sending out border agents to catch drug dealers during his state of the union, all the while knowing his buddies in texas are prosecuting and sending border agents to jail for doing just that! of course, he wanted his open door policy instituted so he'd say anything. remember the wall he touted BEFORE the democrats over ran the congress? nowhere to be seen now that it no longer serves his interests of providing cheap labor to his "haves and haves more" supporters.

oh, and nobody has been fired for lying to congress about the ramos and compean case for over 5 months (lying is OK to serve his open border interests!). the truth *only* came out when congress subpoenaed the head of the agency. if they hadn't done that, they'd still be leaving congress with a 180 degree wrong impression.

the guy has a jesus complex... imho, that is far scarier than a personable narcissist. the former can easily justify the torture of innocents b/c they aren't innocent as long as his jesus complex says they aren't. somehow, i don't see clinton torturing people in similar circumstances. using them for political advantage, sure. that's a major personality difference, imho.
