Well, jttmab sees this move by Russia as a positive step. I'm not sure why, but I'll be interested to have the reason explained to me. I'm not sure the trend yet IS for the resumption of adult leadership. There is a struggle right now, but I'm not sure I see a trend yet. All I see right now is action and reaction- I don't see any of the careful long term planning I'd really like to see. We sure didn't get that from the Bush admin- pipe dreams and stupid moves didn't cut it, but simple reactions to the pipe dreams and stupid moves of the Bush admin aren't going to cut it for me either. I'd like to believe there are some adults out there, but I have yet to see them in positions of authority.
