Well that particular massacre may have been dissuaded. That has to be admitted. But obviously different types of violence, which picked its time, or challenged the odds, would come to pass. As we saw in the olden weste.

There ain't no easy fixes for the odd things that happen in this planetoid. Just about every system that tries to put a band aid on the worst parts of human nature introduces evils of its own.

Defensive training of estudentae and others may not hurt finally.
