post #623 is totally violative of TOU - it's a posters view of her own posting history and she brings up my alias in a discussion of types of posters. Tooting of a horn which carries over to several responding posts including my own.
627- is an attempt to bring up the obvious scam CSHD and, as you know, there is absolutely no connection with that company that claimed to, inter alia, be colonizing the moon.
The various posts that convey your "opinion" that the CEO is somehow "suspect" because he created message boards are probably off topic, but I'd look for an interpretation from SI Dave. If you are claiming that it is somehow related to the workings of the public entity, then you should probably support your opinion, rather than just characterizing him as "suspect." You object often when others characterize you and you should give the same courtesy to him. Being a CEO does not mean he should not be treated with the respect with which YOU desire to be treated.
630 starts a "cut and paste" of posts that have almost no useful information. Your 633 seems like a "mild attack" but, you should admit, nevertheless, that it adds nothing to do the discussion.
637-639, 641-642,644-648, 650 are more attempts to bring up the spectre of CSHD or are just off topic. Even though posts contain some relevant on topic information, they still violate SI TOU as indicated.
There is a reason for discouraging off topic "gossip," attacks on other posters, etc. In addition to being silly and lacking civility, it tends to discourage readership. You lose your audience. I know you have a message you wish to convey. I encourage that and have encouraged you in the past, both publicly and privately. You lose the message though when readers are turned off, when there is gossip, attacks and "cut and paste" over and over. People leave and you wind up talking to one or two people. I know that you wish to have your message reach a wider audience. Consider these suggestions as friendly, hoping to encourage USEFUL exchange of information. More information, repetitive and off topic, does not make it USEFUL. |
