Bill,

With all due respect, NONE of the legal articles I mentioned come from "well-intentioned" folk. Please reread my post as you missed that said articles popped up in WELL RESPECTED LEGAL JOURNALS.

Said articles were discussing methodologies to solve a real problem facing corporations. Said articles were not addressing Y2K in theory - they were providing real world answers/solutions to REAL WORLD problems which have been put to the authors from clients/associates.

Bill, if you have fifteen corporate clients on retainers from $75,000 to $300,000 each and three are calling requesting advice concerning this issue (addressing/assessing problem - legal ramifications - retaining employees who are leaving for higher pay), what more scientific data are you looking for????????????

Bill, individuals I know who are way way way out of the fray are coming into realization regarding Y2K because of their jobs . . . not the internet or SI discussion threads.

An MBA Insurance executive associate of mine recently (today) commented how they locked in a Y2K Co for a compliance assessment s at a price which included $0.25 per loc last year, whereas said same co has now indicated it is charging fees in excess of $2.00 per loc.

Bill, last year the issue was is this real or not. This year the issue is price.

Stephen
