There is no argument to stay in Iraq or leave Iraq among thoughtful people. Foreign forces, whether police or military, who are in a land or a home to stop terrorism and support peaceful order of the place have a supportable cause. No reasonable and sane person wants a foreign force in their home otherwise. No reasonable and sane person wants to be that force or to support such a force otherwise. Everyone wants forces like that to be 'out' of their home but not before their home is safe from hostile and brutal attacks. So simply stating Iraqis want us out and Americans want us out is stating the obvious without operational principle. "<<
