I hope Bart13 can figure it out. I first thought you had gotten a two time zone head start on me on drinking. But then I looked at this page. federalreserve.gov Lance Lewis graph is from the nominal data with 1997 base year = 100. federalreserve.gov The other graph is of the Real Broad data with base year 1973 base year =100. federalreserve.gov I hope Bart13 can explain what "nominal" means.
