Since that post i had a horrible experience, wandering acres and acres of barren wilderness in search of my lost wife and child ... acres hell, it was square miles, aisle after uncounted aisle of gaudy cheap crap from China ... we had gotten separated because in my bravado i had struck off in another direction to get a copy of Resource World magazine, little knowing that the place was closed, and forgetting that females don't stay where you put them, that celestial navigation doesn't work in those places for some reason, and your panicked screams for help are absorbed by all the plastics
Nothing there was made in North America, or any of the other Americas for that matter, not even a marked-down box of The Original Lincoln Logs, as i naively assumed until getting them home ... you'd think with a name like that they'd come from not too far away, but nooo
