"Remember if the company wanted to dump a million shares tomorrow,,they would only get .01 cent or so per share...in 3 weeks, after this split they might get .10 cents for that same million...not hard to see why they might want to do this I don't disagree with any of what you say except for the statement above. If they dump a million shares after the reverse split for a dime, they would be dumping the equivalent of 7 million pre-split shares for the same amount of money. In reality, there is no financial advantage to your scenario as you state it unless it would be a commission savings on a 1 million share sale versus a 7 million share sale. Pat
