I finally got to my pork tenderloins yesterday. Did them in the mushroom/milk mix and didn't brown them beforehand. After one hour of simmering, they were still only 120 degrees, so I let them simmer another 15 minutes. Made a batch of "boxed" mashed potatoes to go along. It all tasted pretty good, but not good enough for me to want to do it again. I have enough left overs for another meal, so that's a plus. I'm going back to what I've always done with chops. Marinate in teriyaki all day and toss them on the grill. That makes for a great deal less to clean up after. A job I don't like at all and I can't stand a messy kitchen so I clean up immediately.
