Its a volunteer army fighting in a war that doesnt seem to be going well and with multiple tours of duty to boot. Its amazing to me that we dont have a mini-rebellion underway. I think the only thing that prevents that is the evil nature of much of the enemy. We may be fighting them in wrong headed faahion and perhaps we should never have engaged them in iraq, but it is clear to me at least that we are the good guys unlike what you will hear from the left. Thats where Webb went very right as opposed to some on the left wing of the dems.
