I hear a lot of things and I believe I finally heard what really happened at Cymer. Specialist please help for I only have the outline. This is what I heard. Cymer uses 3 different types of hardware. In June Cymer sent a group of their people to see Nikon in Japan. Nikon had a problem with a VIBRATION which created a NOISE in one of these hardwares. These were the words used. The team resolved the problem and came home in mid July. There also was a similair problem with ASM in Aug which was resolved in 2 weeks. I also heard that the problem was expected and budgeted for in the second quarter.
