Like I said....I could stand to do more reading regarding NATO. I've always been under the impression that its main purpose was to provide security for NA and European nations in a collective and permanent alliance. I know it is more complicated than that, but would rather leave any reading about the alliance up to the individual. Lots more here:http://www.nato.int/#
