Same straw man argument JF brought up. Anyone who is against universal health care believes that the US is "incapable" of doing "as well."

I'm saying that universal health care is no panacea to America's health care problems. In fact, it would probably exacerbate the current problems and introduce new ones, such as new taxes that create a tremendous drag on the economy.

The only guarantee of universal health care is that the number of uninsured here in America would be drastically reduced. But at what cost? Nothing occurs in a vacuum.
