Until the Iraqi war, the VA was extremely well run. It, in fact, was considered a model of what can be done with use of technology and providing world class health care. Your president broke it. On purpose and with forethought. His way of supporting the troops by radically cutting back funding for a critical service. And, no doubt, seeding it with more than its share of Brownies.
