Fuel Tests Interpretation

This post sums up the new Test Results:

Awesome results! They just came in today after more "tweaking" to the fuel! Look at those numbers:

Flash Point 170 *F
Sulfur,PPM 6
Cetane Index 47.5
BTU/Gal 129,552

This fuel passes specs for the new Ultra Low Sulfur Diesel.

I could see the numbers were outstanding, but was wondering about a previous estimate of Cloud Point at -57, and this test reported 36. Then larice from IHub gave this insight:

The cloud point can be lowered to -40 for winter season fuels by an additional 0.05% or some small amount like that of the
Rivera Additive.

The test you see at 36 is obviously for summer blend.

This makes perfect sense to me. Why would you add (even though amount is tiny) more additive to prevent freezing in the summer? Thus perhaps different Winter and Summer Blends.

Simply FANTASTIC TEST RESULTS
