The blender rules the countertop in this household. After all, the microwave can take up to 4 minutes, and who has that kind of time?! I'm currently trying to figure out the "Coffee Press" so I can be hip....not sure what all the rage is about....the coffee tastes about the same... I am looking forward to the whole crock pot thing....growing up, my mother utilized it often due to her office hours....I thought it was some of the best food she prepared. I really need to find some fool proof recipes, as I am a bit challenges around any cooking apparatus, if you couldn't tell by now....n ot that I'm not game for the challenge. WIJ
