koan....you mentioned a day or so back that you are going in for a new hip.Are you getting the old tried and proven or the resurfacing.... mayoclinic.com My older brother has had both hips done one of each.The resurfacing recovery was definitely a lot quicker but time will tell the rest.The resurfacing has just recently started being covered by B.C. medical.Wish you well with this.
