Dom, It's good to hear that you were able to get into CS so easily..It seems to be a different story on the dealer end of this..Dealers calling the technical support line are either met with a busy signal or left on hold for 20-40 minutes..There was supposedly a special "dealer code" to dial through the phone system to help prioritize the incoming calls...Doesn't work...
I think that DISH is a very good system when comparing programming to other systems..But three things need to be addressed 1)Better response time to dealers handling technical and warranty services 2)Quality control on product manufacturing. Too many DOA's or defects 3)More efficient and quality control operations in repair service..Currently taking 2-3 weeks for an "overnight" repair, and they are sending out units that are not thoroughly checked( getting "repaired" DOA's, defects)
Granted, DISH is doing very favorable things for the consumer. Subs have been increasing, due in part from recent promos..It'll be nice to see them hit 1mil by year's end...I would just hate to see them forget who got them there <g> -Jeff
