Ah, But Sir Harry Flashman was a true hero with the ladies. He just wasn't much on the fighting side. His memoirs are the only evidence we have that The Charge of the Light Brigade was caused by him eating beans the night before and his horse charging away from the noise and odor of his flatulence. Right into the Russian guns.

Here we are fighting in Afghanistan, and nobody has called upon Sir Harry's advice, which is to wrap yourself in the flag and pretend to be dead.
