Do not make the good a victim of the perfect. There is no perfect. re: b) Even if that were the case, a government takeover would not fix anything. You would only install a legal monopoly with all of its associated problems. They are only "taking over" the payment system... thus "single payer". They control a lot of it now very efficiently. You wouldn't "only install a legal monopoly" you would insure everyone at a much cheaper cost. re: And like I said before, the problems that I've stated before would only be multiplied. What problems would be multiplied how? Be specific.
