Snow Balls. Do they still make them? Haven't thought of them in years. I liked Twinkies when I was a kid but, for some reason I don't remember now, thought Snow Balls were the food from Hell. Hostess now publishes a Twinkies Cookbook, the actual recipe for Twinkies (embalming fluid and other of-alleged unnatural ingredients not included), and sells Twinkie pans. IIRC, Twinkies are really just shortcake with a cream filling. (Meant to reply to your powdered donut yesterday but forgot to in all the excitement of recalling the my own prior 24 hour's menu.)
