There was some banter earlier in the day from elroy that gaza may actually be a better test. The history of fatah as the thieves who stole the funds earmearked to benefit the pals is a tough pill to swallow. Can any islamic fundamentalist and sometimes terrorist org like hamas or hizbolla ever go straight? If so there may be more hope in gaza. The Palestinian well shaved, Armani wing of Fatah in their $1000 suits never gave me much more confidence that i had in Arafat. I am glum about both.
