The Globe and Mail reports in its Wednesday, July 18, edition that Breakwater Resources climbed seven cents to finish trading on the Toronto Stock Exchange Tuesday at $3.43. The Globe's Allan Robinson writes in the Eye On Equities column the stock has a 52-week trading range of $3.69 to 92 cents. Canaccord Capital increased its commodity price forecasts and share price targets for a group of mining companies, including zinc producer Breakwater Resources. The new price target for "buy-rated" Breakwater is $4.40. CIBC World Markets analyst Cliff Hale-Sanders and Terry Tsui recommended buying Breakwater in The Globe on Oct. 27 when it was trading at $1.49. Other "buys" include Coalcorp Mining. Canaccord raised Coalcorp Mining's target to $8. Coalcorp Mining stock closed Tuesday on the TSX at $4.88, up four cents. Canaccord raised the target price on Inmet Mining to $114. Inmet Mining stock gave back $2.88 to close on the TSX Tuesday at $96. Finally, Cannacord lifted its price target on First Quantum Minerals to $141. First Quantum stock jumped $3.22 on the TSX Tuesday to close at $108.72.
