the social worker , nurse and aide are amazed at my set up. they are spreading the word to other caregivers. the social worker came and first thing she asked is did you use that big generator a couple of weeks. I thought of you as we lost power for a few hours. I sure did!

i use the micro wave slippers too for her feet, poor circulation and nerve damage so they are cold all the time. these people in the business never saw them. i down load the information for them so they can take it to others who are freezing cold do to sickness.

i found a plate on the web with big curved lip with about 1/2 rise. it helps them feed themselves and get food on their spoon. oh, the spoon is a large handled ice cream spoon i found at giant in the ice cream section. Works great , gives her the ability to hold onto it and steady herself for eating. keeps her independent vs me feeding her. She is much happier feeding herself. I expect a run on ice cream spoons now. g It is large enough , about the size of a soup spoon , yet has a handle on it shaped like an ice cone and nice and full. they lose the ability to hold a small handle.

i really like the a/c unit i bought. mine is 13,500 and handles 475 sq ft.
