Glad to learn you use a pressure cooker too, Mary Lou. I love mine! I gave it to myself for Christmas about 5 years ago and have really learned to just love it to pieces. To tell the truth, though, I've never cooked anything in it but roasts. Pork and beef, even chuck roasts come out so flavorful and tender it's hard to believe. I always add a huge potato, a huge red onion, a couple packages of baby carrots and, sometimes, a whole tray of sliced mushrooms. I'll try adding a can of broth next time, instead of just water. Gravy from all this is to die for.
