Rodney, I requested a small check from Datek on Thursday and received it by mail today. I can't complain about that. I will continue withdrawing funds from the account until I get it back under 100k so that I can sleep easier. The time delays on wiring funds in and out prevent me from using Datek for shorting and other margin activities so I have switched back to my old broker for my primary trading and will limit my Datek trading to a secondary role. Anything longer than one day for transfer of funds in and out by wire is totally unacceptable for an active trader with large accounts in multiple markets (stocks, bonds, commodities). Opportunities can come and go within hours.
