Great words PatiBob, thank you. As to your husband in a crisis it's the pilot, military person, uniform wearing type person in him. Through years of training and experience you learn to work the problem without worrying about what might be. No time to spend energy on what might be. Quick, concise and no nonsense. I can remember 2 times on the submarine being totally in that zone. It's like time was running in slow motion and your senses are at 150% and your mind is totally clear of all thought but working the problem. Sure beats running around like a little girl screaming as I've seen some do in a crisis:)
