after the fed chief's speech to the house yesterday, his senate banking committee today does not get any better. in summary, these elected officials are either ill prepared in their questions or financial neophytes. questions from republican jim bunning of kentucky about possibly having the fed forcing people into $200K mortgages when they wanted $400K ones to robert menendez of new jersey that appears to be an op-ed from the new york times; showing zero financial know how from the jersey senator. it's no wonder nothing gets done in d.c. paul
