This is huge. Silicon Valley is jumping into the Solar Business with both feet now: widespread appeal from VCs and companies like Cypress Semiconductor and Applied Materials in the fray. This is going to happen. It's a done deal now. 3-5 years until it is cost competitive... "The solar business will add $500-million to Applied's sales next year and double in each of the next two years, bringing in as much as $2-billion in annual revenue by 2010, Mr. FitzGerald said."
